"do not want to give my date of birth"
Nothing went wrong with the transaction . My objection is that the company not allow you to set up an account without giving your date of birth. In my view this is for profiles and marketing purposes , The vast majority of website no longer ask such irrelevent questions.I will not be purchasing from then again.

"Poor customer service regarding an item from an outside supplier"
This is the email I sent to Oxendales on the 6th April 2023. It explains the experience I have had, which is not great.
Dear Kaci, it is now the 6th. I have had no contact from the supplier or the carrier since the order was placed.
I have had no contact INITIATED by Oxendales since the order was placed.
I have had to contact Oxendales to attempt to find information about the order.
The first delivery date I was given on my account page at time of order was 31st March.
When there was no sign of it arriving I contacted customer service via web chat and was told it would arrive on the 1st of April.
This date seems to have been plucked out of thin air with no basis in reality.
I phone customer service on the 3rd of April to be told it would arrive on the 6th.
Yet again this date seems to have been plucked out of thin air.
Your email was received on the 3rd and for the first time I am given the information that it can take 10 to 14 days after date of DISPATCH, not even after date of order!!!!!!
Why is this not made clear at time of purchase.
I order items from the UK via Amazon UK regularly, and they take 2 to 3 days to arrive from time of order.
It took 8 days from purchase date for the item to be dispatched.
Do Oxendales not think they have a responsibility to the customer to expedite orders which they have taken, no matter that it is an outside supplier.
Do Oxendales not think they have a responsibility to keep the customer informed of the status of their order.
The day I purchased the home gym from you the exact same item was for sale (and still is) at 'very.ie' for 584.99 euro including delivery. Their delivery date was the 12th of April.
So I decided to spend the extra, buying the gym from you, because the information you gave on the product page suggested a much earlier delivery. What a waste of money.
I have had 3 delivery dates given to me by Oxendales. All nonsense.
Can you please get in touch with the supplier to get a tracking number for the delivery and pass it on to me, so that I can track the progress of the item for myself.

A very unhappy customer.

"If I could zero stars I would"
If I could zero stars I would. I purchased a coffee table from Oxendales online. It looked lovely online but arrived looking slightly different to the picture and with a faulty, flimsy door. I contacted Oxendales on December 19th requesting to return it and I have been waiting for 14 weeks now with no progress on the refund. Every advisor that contacts me makes the same promises, but they have still resolved nothing. For this appalling customer service alone, I would not recommend the company, but their furniture is also of a very poor quality.
